A Message From Our President

The Links, Incorporated was founded on November 9, 1946 and is an international, not-
for-profit corporation comprised of 299 chapters located in forty-one states, the District
of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. It is one of
the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations committed to the
enrichment of African American and other persons of African ancestry.

Dynamic, highly esteemed, service-oriented women comprise The Pittsburgh (PA)
chapter. For nearly eight decades, the Pittsburgh Chapter has demonstrated a
commitment to enriching the lives of the greater Pittsburgh region through philanthropy
and robust programming. We engage in transformative and impactful services through
five facets: Health and Human Services, Services to Youth, National Trends,
International Trends, and the Arts.

Chartered in 1948, the Chapter approaches eight decades of service. We are excited
about this milestone and our longstanding presence in the community. We encourage
